It’s recommended that six sessions will be needed at intervals, to be agreed on an individual basis, but not fewer than 3 sessions. A meeting at around a fortnight or monthly basis would be best. Ideally, periods between sessions should be long enough to allow time for ideas to percolate and any actions agreed on to be taken but not too long so that there’s a sense of continuity in the consultation.
Session length is between 45 and 55 minutes.
